Located in the former site of the Hingham Shipyard, the design for this project calls for 26 luxury apartments over parking and retail. The site has a rich history of shipbuilding dating back to 1942, and in the 1990s the property became the subject of a Master Plan for redevelopment to include a ferry terminal, marina, residential, retail, and dining uses.

The project was influenced by the imagery of ships, specifically, destroyer escorts and marine landing crafts that were formerly built on the site for the Marines, Navy and Coast Guard. Strong horizontal lines clad by fiber-cement panels echo the decks of the seagoing vessels. The design also features an impressive cantilever on the waterside harken back to the Captain’s Bridge and LED mast-like wands to mimic a whimsical moored sailing vessels.
